Combat Stress With 5 Simple Breathing Exercises

How would you like to become healthier while breathing better all while reducing stress...sounds too good to be true?

We all know how essential breathing is to life. But do we know how necessary it is to breath correctly? Or, the benefits to our quality of health which in turn reduces stress and promotes #longevity? We all know we are going to die if we are not breathing, so something as critical to life should be investigated in order for us to learn to best utilize our body. Breathing is a reflex action done by our body to provide the flow of oxygen around the body to the vital organs.

Doctors note that humans breathe between 12 and 20 times per minute, with children breathing faster than adults. Adults normally breathe about 500-700ml of air at a time.

However, we can control our breathing. We can be more relaxed by breathing in and out deeply. #Deep breathing stimulates the #lymphaticsystem, improves immunity, increases energy, improves digestion, increases energy and an array of other benefits. The more we allow our body to be filled with quality air by deep breathing, the less stress we place on our body and mind; and the more health benefits we reap.

The more we practice our deep and controlled breathing, the more natural it becomes. We can call on it at any time of day to help us through those tired or stressed out moments.

With all the problems we can face -- either we feel #stressedoutatwork, or at the end of a long hard day we can’t sleep, or if we just want a few minutes to our self -- we will find this simple #5-5-5 breathing exercise really beneficial.
